It has been 4 years since I renamed my company to Vintage Urban Girl, from Siouxsan Miller Fine Art Photography. The name change has allowed me to branch out into all different areas. My passion for the past still screams through in all that I do, but now I have the freedom to follow whatever direction I need to take. Come explore the ever changing journey of my artwork.
I have been thinking to myself, everything has been done and I have so much, I wonder - how much am I adding to my carbon footprint? But by keeping so close to nature, understanding its amazing beauty and repurposing or upcycling vintage goods, I feel I am preserving what we already have and presenting it in a different light. I also realized I can't deny myself the pleasure and passion to make my work and how it reachs out to people.
I have opened an on-line storefront on Etsy.com to display some of my new direction. (See link below)
Here you will find greeting cards, prints, artwork on canvas, and my two other directions Twig Natural Soap Company, which celebrates over 9 years of clean business and Green Daffodil Soy Candleworks, a company started with my friend Anne Simonetti over two years ago. Enjoy the goodies I have for both the eyes and the nose. If you have any questions about current or past work, I am always available. To check out my new stuff go to:
